Water Pump

MAE2250 is Cornell's mechanical synthesis class. The class gives hands on experience for product design, rapid prototyping, manufacturing, and assembly. In the class, I learned how to use CAD, specifically Autodesk Fusion 360, machine metal through using a mill and lathe, and rapid prototype through 3D printing and laser cutting. In groups of 6, the final project in the class was to design and machine a water pump. Our water pump was a double-acting, double-piston pump, and was able to pump 4.25 L/min.
